Matt Christopher practically grew up in telecom. The son of a Pacific Bell field technician, Matt spent many weekends in crawl spaces helping to pull wire for side jobs. He interned at AT&T throughout High School and College. His first job out of college was with a custom IVR development firm. After 5½ years selling advanced telephony applications for Lucent, Expanets, and Avaya, Matt moved to Nortel. In 2007, Matt bridged into the world of UC and software-powered voice when he joined the Nortel-Microsoft Innovative Communications Alliance (ICA) team. He completed the transition to UC and software when he joined Microsoft in 2010 as part of the global Voice Incubation team.
