AI is exploding in 2022. OpenAI's release of Instruct-GPT in January ushered in a new era of AI, which understands natural language, human dialog and code equally well, and can perform tasks across all three mediums through natural language instruction. This turns large piles of unstructured data, such as call recordings, into natural-language mineable databases to answer questions like:
- What's my call resolution rate?
- What can my CSRs do better?
- Action item tracking
- Detailed transaction tracking
- Caller intent
- Call summarization
...and much, much more.
This talk will walk through the high-level capabilities, demonstrate the functionality, and provide an overview of an architecture which could perform this analysis at scale.

VoIP in Finance : How Bloomberg uses Asterisk to help Connect Finance Professionals
AC-08 The Bloomberg Terminal is used by more than 325,000 finance professionals around the globe. To help them with their communications and compliance needs, Bloomberg's engineers have used open source software to build a variety of useful VOIP / RTC workflows within the Terminal. In this talk, we will cover some of these workflows and how Asterisk has enabled us to implement them.
three key messages :
- Insights into use cases in the Finance industry
- Talk about Asterisk deployment and Application architecture built around Asterisk
- Talk about Modules implemented in Asterisk to support the use cases

Last year I discussed "Deploying Production Workloads in Kubernetes". This session will expand beyond deployment to the lifecycle of operating a global deployment.
This session covers the following including demos:
- Things to consider when deploying multi-region SIP based services
- HPA (Horizontal Pod Autoscaler)
- Graceful shutdowns and post start practices
- Deploying new updates without dropping calls
- Single global ingress (security and simplicity)

Join this presentation to brush up your knowledge on leveraging the "stir_shaken" OpenSIPS module in order to build open-source, production-ready STIR/SHAKEN services. "Authentication?" "Verification?" "302 Redirect or just an append of the Identity header?" are just a few of the questions we will answer during this presentation.

I will address the difficulties we have had with persistent storage, dynamic configurations, networking, security, and failure recovery. I will compare this architecture to other iterations we have been through including LXC based, ProxMox VM based, and EC2 instance based, showing why we think this k8s based architecture is the next generation.
